About packing big tarantula!

I have watched already so many videos of shipping tarantulas and packing them. My question is sooooo stupid but I wonder how the tarantula can breathe in that box which is full of paper towels? :wall:

Hold a paper towel to your nose and mouth, can you breathe through it?

T's don't respire by inhaling and exhaling, they just have oxygen exchange in the book lungs. People often overestimate the amount of oxygen required to keep them alive.

i had trouble with this concept when i started too.
if these are your first inverts (like they were mine) this is one of many seemingly counter-intuitive things about T's that make them so interesting for me to keep.

- made me go back to old college chemistry text books for chapters on gas-exchange.
