A.sp. Guatemala

just got home and my A.sp.Guatemala is in pre-molt... at first i was told it was a A.seemani.. but with the pre molt abdomen being more blue than any other colour...will have a link to photos pics are too big sorry ..

It could be a Aphonopelma seemanni "BCF" as they are from Guatemala while the "NCF" are from El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama.

So im guessing Aphonopelma seemanni and Aphonopelma sp. "Guatemala" are the same specie.

Actually...
There are definitely two separate species, and both seem to have blue forms.

There are plenty of posts elsewhere on this topic.

Glad you are questioning what you have JuGGaL0K0W, but finding a bluish colour doesnt help identify it.

So far, the marking on the tarsus seems useful to diagnose
"... What, however is stable within many tarantula species is pattern. A seemanni has a straight line from the base of the metatarsus to about halfway down the metatarsus. ..."

After the molt, which was sexed male he burrowed deep into the substrate. I have not been able to get anymore "good" looks at him. Hoping to see him again soon, so i can take some more pictures, and get a better understanding of the sp. i have.
