Just a question, well.. recently I figured out my A. seemanni was a girl and not a dude (Surprising). My friend recently came by to see it, and he pinpointed that it was the blue color form?? Now I never recognized the colors because I keep my T.'s in my basement where the lights are pretty dim. So it pretty much appeared to be a regular A. seemanni to me. So can someone help pinpoint if this is the blue form or not. The front does appear kind of blue, but i'm not really an expert on the A. seemanni color morphs.

It is not "A. seemanni 'blue form'".

What you have is A. seemanni.

A. seemanni come in a few colours based on locality and conditions kept.

What is sold as Aphonopelma seemanni 'blue form' is actually 'Aphonopelma sp. Guatemala stripe leg' , which is different from Aphonopelma seemanni. And breeders and sellers of this sp. should really change the name as it is misleading.

The striping on the legs of Sp. Guatemala is more narrow compared to seemanni. This can be difficult to spot if you aren't looking for this characteristic. When it comes to mature males it is easier to spot the differences.
