right i have no idea how to search for this on here or the internet so i thought id ask. my a.seemanni came out of her hide last night, walked a little then moved away from the other corner like she was startled, she then began to furiously rub the side of her abdomen with her back legs, she had her spinnerts going and was stamping on them as she, scratched herself? iv seen her do this before, once, and could hear the friction she was making?
is this her in moult prepartion? leaving urticating hairs around where she wants to moult? she hasnt started to webb up stuff and has never realy webbed anything.

any suggestions would be great. thanks.

Not sure what aggrivated her but the only reason a T would use their hind legs to rub off urticating hair is that they were aggrivated at something and wanted to get rid of it. That has nothing to do with laying a molt mat.
