A question about Poecilotheria formosa

Hi.

I have a female, which is around 15cm LS, and around 6cm BL. Is this an adult female? can i breed her? I allready have a MM which made a spermweb. The female is 2 months and a few days into her molt cycle. I was planing on breeding her tonight...What do you guys think? should i try, or should i wait till she molts...The last molt was recorded and it last 6 months and a few days for her to molt.

15 cm. DLS is certainly big enough. I also use the molt time frame to help determine maturity and 6 months between molts has almost always yielded satisfactory results for me. In one case, I believe the mating process encouraged an early molt, and then a (hopefully) successful result with the same male. Good luck with your pair. Di
