A fun sight

It is always fun to actually catch our scorps in the act of ecdysis...
This final molt produced a gorgeous male (this is an F5 animal finally come to maturity) of a phenotype I have been working with where the adults maintain the red dorsal stripe.

He will darken a bit over the next several hours, but the reds stay fairly vibrant.

Awesome coloration! Gracilis was my instinct, but since it was freshly molted it could have somewhat resembled C. margaritatus coloration. Gorgeous!
