A few H. cf minax pictures

A few pictures of my adult female H. cf minax. I will be getting a positive ID on these guys in about 1.5-2 weeks.

Yeah, it's Hottentotta. Cf stands for color form. So here, it means he has a Hottentotta sp. with a colorform that resembles Hottentotta minax and that he's waiting to get it IDed.

Yes the genus is Hottentotta. I am hoping its minax, and I'm fairly sure it is.

I was under the impression that cf stood for confer in latin...

I don't know the locality, but it might also be H.polystictus............But, whatever Hottentotta it is, it is a pretty one. do le't us know the ID please?

Hey Michiel,

I'm fairly certain this is not H. polystictus, if the descriptions are correct. It says H. polystictus has elongated metasomal segments. But who knows with Hottentotta now adays. I will definitely let everyone know the ID!

That's good news Ryan! Finally someone with "real" H.minax.
But I don't keep this genus anymore, I decided a while ago.
