I had a couple questions about andros.

1.How fast do they grow(specifically bicolor and mauretanicus) when kept at around 85* day time temps?

2.How should I go about pairing my australis?

I'll have a couple more questions I'm sure that I'll post in this thread. Thanks for any help in advance!!!

Yes,thread jacker:D,that is quite normal for WC animals. They can go extensive periods without food or water. That's pretty cool that you were able to catch one your self!Man I wish you could ship to the US!

However,a question like that makes you sound like this is your first scorpion...Androctonus is not a genus that should be taken lightly. They have arguably the most potent scorpion sting, and are very fast and quick to sting.Enjoy it,but please, take EXTREME precaution!

Thanks grom grom!I'll post pictures of all my new additions as soon as I get 1 more shipment from KTBG!

I didnt get any andros from ken.I got my 1.1 australis and my 0.0.2 bicolor from LLLreptile(which they got from Ken,so I guess I kinda did),and just did a trade with Ken for 3 adult P.leiosoma and a H.hotenttotta adult.I'm getting them shipped tomorrow,so should get them Wednesday. Can't wait!I may also be getting A.maurtanicus soon as well!

Another Andro question:

Is it worth getting A.amourexi(misspelled:wall:) if you already have A.australis?

If you like the genus it might be worth getting. Honnestly, I'm not a fan of A amoreuxi, they don't get the fat tail of other andros. I think they look kind of like a Hoffmannius Spinigerus at least superfisously.

I think I'm gonna pass on them.I like fat tails, and if they don't get them, then I don't really need them. Now,how about A.crassicauda? How different are they from A.bicolor?Worth getting? And what I mean by "worth getting" is,are they worth spending money on if they are so similar to another more common species Ialready own.

I also have a question on my P.leiosoma breeding trio, and don't see a point in posting an additional thread for a small questions.Okay,I got them a week ago,and put them in a 20 long divided in 3 with heat at the back.I've noticed that they stay at the cool side, while my australis is always in the hot side.I thought that they were both kept at the same hot temps. Was I wrong?I took away the parabuthus heat, and now they go all over the cage. What do you guys think? Thanks!
