hey guys. So, my A. avic seems to have abandoned her egg sac. She held onto it for maybe two days and I came home today to find it hanging from a thin piece of webbing, maybe an inch or two above the cage floor. Will she go back to it or should I remove it and try putting it in an artificial incubator ?

not a good sign...
leave it for a day, than try to put it closer to her. Maybe she just lost it :). if she wont start to care for it, it probably means that something is wrong with it.

incubate immediately
Put it into an artificial incubator today. Thanks for the reply.

Do you think there is a possibility that the sac could have some dead eggs? Should I go ahead and open it up, so that I can dispose of the bad ones?

open it, then put the eggs in the incubator. If eggs are in the sac, they must be rolled from time to time.
