Hallo forum!

I'm already looking at my next tarantula, but am (still) fretting about enclosure size. I've been looking at the boards and haven't found much consensus as of yet - I just want to make sure I don't crowd them, while conserving the little space I have.

Most of the T's I've been looking at have supposed usual sizes of 5" to 7" as adults.

My question is, would a large Exo terra faunarium (17" long x 11" wide x 6" tall) be enough for a terrestrial adult of 7"?

I'm also considering an avicuaria species (possibly a purpurea, there seems to be a load of them available in the UK atm) but, again, am getting hung up on enclosure size, mostly height.

I really appreciate any input anyone can give me, and the time you take to write a reply

Thank you!

I use clear acrylic shoe cases (14.5 x13 x7.5”) for my large terrestrials.
