how long should it take for a traansvaalicus to reach its final molt from 6th instar? i have one with MASSIVE spacing between the p. membranes. it looks like it has fat rolls on the bottom too. and it's about 3.5 inches. i was told its been almost a year since it's last molt. is this normal at all?

It can vary greatly for individuals, also higher temps can speed up growth. I first had around 5 or so. 4 of them molted close to the same time. But one took almost 10 months after the others to molt to mature. I had a brood and raised most of them, maybe 60 I kept. About 15 of those took much longer to hit their final molt. It may be something to do with offsetting generations/genes. I'm guessing it will molt in the Spring or Summer.
