So this is my third day with a new scorpion as a first time ever, so as I was trying to sleep last night I decided to set an alarm for myself at 230ish so I could watch the scorpion do its scorpion things, as I was falling asleep around 1030 I heard a noise or two so I figured I'd look, I was so happy when I saw my scorpion incredibly active and hunting down crickets, I wish I had known how enjoyable owning a scorpion was years ago. :)

Buy yourself a H. arizonensis, and you'll see what an active scorp is really like! 16 hours a day its out digging and exploring. Guestimate

Where could I buy one, there isnt exactly a very good shop around where I live in michigan, I just got lucky finding an exotic pet shop that had emperors, I had been studying about how to own and care for one for about 4 months before I actually found an exotic pet shop with some.

So lucky yours hunts them... My scorpions only lie and wait only to ambush the crickets. But they venture out at night too. Really happy for you, im new to scorps too :). But the coolest thing is to watch them eat .

Numerous places have them.KenTheBugGuy,Paulatpetshop,LLLreptile to name a couple. They are native scorpions,so many people in the US sell them.I have never owned one,but have heard great things about them! They are much more on the defensive/aggressive side than your emperor though:embarrassed:!They are still very good beginner scorpions for sure!
