Hello everyone. I am completely new to this forum community. I've done plenty of research on different species and I'm just looking for the best recommendations.
I have a 20 Gallon long tank and I'm looking for a scorpion species that I can keep in there that is "active" (not always hiding) and gets a good size.
I'm not worried about potency of venom that much as I will not handle the scorpion.

20 gallons will generally be really large for a single specimen. Your best bet, if possible would be to create set up that simulates the natural habitat and get a colony of Centruroides spp (C. vittatus, C. sculpturatus, C. gracilis). Any type of Heterometrus sp will require a deep substrate as they are obligate burrowers. Once they burrow, they usually enjoy to stay there.
