The first looks like the pictures I've seen of hobo spiders. Don't know what the second one is, but he's had a rough time. Missing a leg and a pedipalp.

The first one is likely a Tegenaria species, just not T. agriestis. I can't tell how large it is, so my guess would be T.domestica. The second looks like one of the Hackmesh Weavers, but you might want to compare your pic to some of the ones on Bugguide.net.

Hi,

i second definitely Gigus statement: from what can be seen in the pics, the first one looks more like a lycosid, than a Tegenaria.

What makes you think it´d be a Tegenaria?

@ Fleshandcolor

Could you please post a pic of the "face" of the first spider?

Greetings,

Stefan

The first one is not Tegenaria. The almost invisible eyes seem to fit Lycosidae. The carapace of the second one looks like Clubiona but anyway I think it is a male Linyphiid.

The second one looks castianeira spp. I just posted a thread about them. If it is they are neat.
