I really think the first is most likely Hoffmannius spinigerus, it used to be Vaejovis spinigerus but it recently had a name change. The second one could very well be the same species but I'm not willing to say for certain. I based my ID mainly on the fact that of the species in central AZ that's what it looks like the most. The other genus found in that area, Centruroides, Hadrurus, maybe Paruroctonus and a few others look a lot different. The thickness and shape of the tail is a good give away. Honnestly it's based mainly on hours of observation and keeping. They are Vaejovis/Hoffmannius of some sort.
