yes, males do spin, and they do have an oriface for excretions.... it's the milky looking stuff on the side of the enclosure most of the time.

Ah...so that is what those small little white goblets are on the side of my Ts tank! I was about to post a question about them...but I think I have an answer now! Is there an easy way to clean it? Is it that important to clean?

That poop drys really hard. Its like plaster on the walls.
I pre soak it with plain water and then whip it with a washcloth. Sometimes I use a Q-tip.
