My slings (Phidippus johnsoni) that were seperated from mom have become
1st instars it looks like. Even got to see 2 molt. I count maybe 9 that are alive; finally pulled open the sac today. A few died from molts gone wrong, but it happens. The ones that are molted are now very active. About 3-4 of them are starting a little nest of their own. I gave them aphids and one knat I was lucky to catch but no eating is happening yet (not even cannibalism). Strangely it looked like one sling was biting an aphid but I couldn't tell.... very tiny. Least they have plenty of moisture.
I ordered 2 MF and one MM today. My mom's gonna kill me.
