17 year cicadas outbreak

Are these critters coming up here? I know there are other types of cicadia up here, I have caught a few.

By me we get the dog day cicadas ever year, but again I hardly find many they seem to thrive by the evergreen trees.

Some one please answer my question This looks like a spectical to behold and if it is going to happen in Minnesota I want to see it.

Periodical Cicadas dont occur in Minnesota. I looked all over and every source doesnt list your state for finding Periodical Cicadas.

The out break happened 3 years ago in south western Ohio. We went to a park to see them and MAN they were EVERY where. I stepped on quite a few.
