Finally! My 0.1 T. albopilosus apparently decided it's time for a moult. All her previous moult cycles were between 2 - 2 1/2 months, now I'm already waiting for about 8 1/2 months. ;) They kid you not when they say some Ts slow down in growth drastically when they reach about 3". *lol*
Miss Hissypants is suffering from pre-molt syndrome. As I filled her water dish, she unexpectedly lunged toward me and slapped my hand with surprising strength. She then held this threat pose for several minutes.
Got this girl about a month ago, and she's looking like she'll molt very soon. She's my 3rd N. chromatus (the other two were males who have since matured and been sent off on loans), but she has more attitude than the other two ever did. She threat poses and kicks hairs at the slightest disturbance
My (roughly) 2inch juvenile A.avic, she stopped eating almost 2 weeks ago and has started webbing more. I know these are all premoult signs but I've noticed her abdomen hasn't really changed, if at all, in colour. Anyone experienced with Avics know if this looks like premoult colour (first avic) x
