Found this, what I’m assuming is female because of the egg sack stuck to it, out right outside my porch this morning. It’s really muddy maybe left it’s burrow because we got a lot of rain yesterday here in Texas, night have gotten flooded out
First pairing went really well! Wish I got better pictures for educational purposes but I didn’t want that to take priority over my male surviving as I hope to pair him at least once more and then make him my first proper taxidermy project.
Miss Hissypants is suffering from pre-molt syndrome. As I filled her water dish, she unexpectedly lunged toward me and slapped my hand with surprising strength. She then held this threat pose for several minutes.
