Not the best quality picture, but the best position I can take of her for now.

Her recent molt measured 3.75'' and she has a little bit of a brown color showing now I think.

Surprised me as a female. This species is quite confusing to sex both ventrally and molt wise in comparison to the T. stirmi. The molt measured 3'' DLS, but the spermathecae was dark/visible enough to see, but quite smaller than I imagined. Still nice to have a surprise female.

    T. blondi Sling (At Last)

I vent sexed this as a male, so basically a suspect male. But a great completion to the Theraphosa genus and is a great eater as well. it took a while to get one at a good price.
  9. Juicy!

    Juicy!

    Biggie - T. stirmi

My beautiful Burgundy Goliath Birdeater (Theraphosa stirmi). Nearly a 9" legspan, still growing. She has a voracious appetite, however is incredibly tolerant of handling. Seriously such a sweetheart!
