  2. A. Avicularia M6 (sp Metallica) Sling

    A. Avicularia M6 (sp Metallica) Sling

Bought a week ago at an expo labeled as an "Avicularia sp Metallica". Great eater, gentle and one hell of a dancer! There are lots of holes at the top of the enclosure too and it usually spends time on the tilted cork piece, if not moving around the side of the pill bottle. Kept dry.

Avicularia avicularia M6 (metallica) Juvenile Suspect Male

Local purchase in the hopes I can get a male who will mature next spring or summer. Still trying to get an egg sac from my girl. Looks like this tyke is a boy from his last moult exuvia.

    Avicularia avicularia M6 (metallica) Spiderling - 1/2"

Look at this cheeky bugger - less than 24 hours in this enclosure and he's already webbed up right at the top! At least he isn't far from his water dish. Hoping that this one is a male.

    Another Mature Male Gone

I raised this Avicularia metallica dude from a tiny spiderling and I was so hoping to get an egg sac from my female. What a huge disappointment.

I didn't have any luck pairing this girl last year, so I hope that this is successful. I don't have any more males and they are hard to come by in Canada.
