    Wild Tarantula On Lawn

My dad saved this tarantula from a parking lot at his local Safeway. He lives in northern Arizona, and has seen many tarantulas like this throughout his life, but never knew the species. We know it's a male, but not much else.

I picked up this Aphonopelma saguaro sling from Jurassic Pet Supplies a few weeks back at the Reptile Super Show in Pomona. I love the Aphonopelma genus and dwarf Ts, so this was an interesting find. I’d never heard of it before. I only see a few tags on iNaturalist. Anyone know about these?

    Finally Nike's going fossorial!

I noticed her burrow was a little too shallow for her to fit inside. So I scooped out two or three handfuls or substrate to give her a little more room. Low and behold, this morning, she's dug all the way to the bottom of the enclosure and awoke to a massive mound of substrate! I couldn't be happier
