hey i have a p.regalis sling.. maybe umm well actually its abotu 3 inches now..
after its last molt the sling has all these brownish red hairs on it... like it has grey al over but the bristles have a brownish red to them ... is this normal? could it be a different peocilotheria species?
hmm i didnt know that .. that would make a lot of sense because they both sit right under the cork bark .. i thought it was maybe in the way i set the tank up.....
from my experince.. all my avic avics (i have 3 1 inches and one 4 inches)
dont web much .. my 4 inches avic webbed a lil bit in her tank and it seems like my slings only web when they are either eating or are going to molt..
on the other hand my Versicolor sling (about 1.5inches) webs...
Hey i have a question about my arboreal t's..well my cambridgei and maculata..
they are both in large sized kirtter keepers (the second biggest i think )
and have nice peice of cork bark ... but in stead of climbing they just hide undeer them...
any ideas why this is happening?
wow that sucks man .. i notice that when i had a smithi it woudl kick haris like crazy it was stil a ling (about 3 inches or so maybe 2.5 cant remember) but it shot like crazy luckily i never got hit..
do reaction vary upon certain people systems?
the metro toronto zoo doesnt have the best invert selection either..

but the zoo overall is a great place..
i would give them to my parents =P cause they hate them ... Nah i think my girlfriend would get them she would take good care of them.. :)
but then after that i would prolly tell my brother if he got them to sell them so he could make some money ... :cool:
man i find it exciting... the chance of being bitten bring me to a sense of realization of how such a little thing can inflict such a great blow to me.. hence it allows me to respect and appreciate my t's even more..

well IMO i love them because of 1. their look 2. they are handleable 3. their are not expensive 4 you can try to keep them communily..
unno what it is.. i love their bristles , the pink toes, everythign about them seems to make me smile.. :p
maybe its going to molt? my g.pulchra was like that in manys ways..
Now she has molted and seems to be doing fine.. sticking like crazy...
that or maybe your t is gettign to fat and heavy to hold itself up :D
