yes i understand where they breathe from, from my angle she looks like she is gonna drown and they are not sitting high enough, especially if the dish is all they way full. I enjoy watching the weird behaviors but i tend to get nervous sometimes.
i can assure you there is water in that dish, i just cleaned it and filled it only a few hours before that photo. Since rearranging her enclosure she has not gone back in but it hasnt even been a day. I appreciate your info on the misting, I figured it was not needed but sometimes a tarantula...
As the title reads my Arizona Blonde keeps sitting in her water dish and it worries me, she is going to drown herself even though it's a shallow dish. All my tarantulas have fresh supply of water. I have tried to mist her enclosure to raise the humidity to see if that helped and that has not...
Oh thats interesting to know! I was always so worried about power feeding my Ts. Been doing this for over 6 years and just now find this out. Thanks for the info!
Do you think these are too big for them? I have meal worms but they are really small. They have recently molted and i have given them two of them small mealworms and their abdomen isn’t really growing or anything. Not in any rush to make her molt. I dont do super feeding. Just wanted to give her...
Does my agic versicolors fangs look ready to eat yet. Id say no cause of the tops still looking a lil reddish rather than black but wanted more opinions. Also she is doing some spider yoga after finally deciding that enclosure is good enough for her
I appreciate this information. My male lives over 6 months aftet i got him. He was very happy and healthy, just a grumpy old man. This one was very well fed and very energetic and active. Its unfortunate this happened. Any recommendations on where to get one that i would have a better chance with

Hey so i need to replace my c. darlingi’s substrate since ive noticed a lot of it has been packed down from moving and what not. I have tons of reptisoil that I use for my gecko and was wondering if its okay for tarantulas? I use ecofiber coco substrate for as long as ive had tarantulas so im...
