I can see how it is a hassle, I’ll see if the shop I’m buying the Ts from has any premade enclosures just in case

    Decent sized hole?

Making the enclosure for a B.Hamorii 1CM sling is this an okay sized air hole or would it easily escape? Also would this size work for my C.Versi which will be between 1-2CM? Side note: will be trimming down and making sure everything is smooth just wanted a expert opinion

Can an enclosure be too big

I’ve seen a lot of people posting on their enclosure and wether it’s too big or small to boot, I’m starting to wonder if there is a thing such as a too big enclosure? Obviously the bigger it is the more hiding places etc for a spider to go. But is it really so bad like Can it stress out...

    C. versicolor enclosure

I like it! How big is your sling? I don’t own a C.Versicolour yet, but from what I’ve heard they love to make their home in the lid, so maybe make his next enclosure one that opens on the side? May work better in both yours and his favour.

    Help me identify please.

@dangerforceidle is spot on with a harvestman, they’re not a threat to us at all Many species of Opiliones are omnivores , eating primarily small insects and all kinds of plant material and fungi; some are scavengers, feeding upon dead organisms, and fecal matter. They’re pretty amazing creatures.

    New to the insect hobby.

You don’t have to buy incects to own them, catch them instead it’s more fun trying to work out what species it is, best of all it’s free and makes good use of any plastic containers, I catch most bugs myself, I caught a Amphipyra pyramidea recently or more commonly know Copper Underwing moth

    Insects/inverts you refuse to own?

I’m curious to see what incects or inverts you refuse to own period, and why? For me centipede hands down especially the more tropical ones, it’s something about the many legs and the antennas that freak me out. Spiders fine, scorpions eh well I’ll see (some of them are beautiful though) But...
