Anyone ever have any tarantulas not eat roaches

I’ve never had a T refuse a dubia unless they were in pre-molt. Crush their heads and they won’t burrow.

Cricket corpses and coconut fiber.... an impossible mission

Yeah as others have said, no need to worry about it. If you’re keeping the T on dry sub then there’s no risk of mold, but even if it’s on wet sub you can always get some springtails and/or isopods to take care of that issue.

    Rehydrate Freeze Dried Crickets?

Definitely go for live food. Mealworms are definitely the easiest to manage but I’d highly recommend dubia roaches if you have access to them.

I moistened the substrate quite a bit already, but I’ll make sure it’s at the right level once the pedes arrive. Thank you! Thanks!!

    "Defanged" Rose hair on Craigslist

I wouldn’t get too upset over this... Defanging tarantulas isn’t even a thing. A defanged tarantula is a dead tarantula. Anyone who claims their T is defanged is talking out of their backside.

Good food for b.dubias that is gonna be food for tarantulas?

I’ve only ever used a mixture of dog food and chicken feed supplemented with fresh fruit once every week or so, and that’s worked great for me.
