Ha.. Now itself they cover a great distance In the blink of an eye.. N I jus found out that the mother had laid her eggs in my room under some dirty laundry.. Can see many dead slings..although not sure how many survived.. Yet...
guys, this spider had molted recently. the pic may not give a right perspective of it's size.. It had recently molted couple of days ago to it's current size of around 1 inch legspan. It's probably a juvie now. This had possibly wandered into my room from the wild.
I live in a place called...
Bring a biologist myself, yet this didn't occur to me . Feel so embarrassed by asking that question. Probably because i thought as a hobbyist and not as a biologist ...
Anyways thank you ..
Y shouldn't we sterilise? It's not going to change the constituency/consistency of the soil. Its only going to kill microbes na??
Pardon my ignorance, but isn't baking it also achieving the same purpose of sterilising it ?!?
Hi... Those are grain mites.. Just harmless but mostly annoying.. One thing that you can do is take a vessel full of water and soap or some kind of oil.. Immerse and keep each of the legs of the table (on which you've kept your cages) in one of the vessels filled with the oil .. Now clean the...

First of all, welcome to the boards!!!
That's a very nice enclosure you've got there arranged.. Although those decorations are for aesthetic purpose, it nevertheless provides the versi a lot of anchor points to use for webbing..
Although this is an arboreal species, I feel maybe u can...
