I purchased a juvi OBT, G. Pulchra, and 5 slings. All are very well taken care of. Amazing quality, best of all I was looking to add a few more which I hadn’t seen on the website. Once I got there I asked and he had just gotten a shipment in of what I was looking for. Haha, worked out really well for me. I’m very happy with my purchase. Got home rehoused all of them and fed them. All of them ate. Very healthy T’s. I found a local legit seller that I will be going to from now on. Thank you

I ordered a male Phidippus regius for a friend to breed with their female, along with a few Acanthoscurria geniculata slings to gift to people. Matt emailed me asking my preferences for delivery (roommate works from home so home delivery was fine). The shipping was nice and tight and the inside of the box was nice and chilly (better than being too hot). I really am impressed with The Spider Room! Will be ordering again!

Purchased a 1/4-1/2" Nhandu Chromatus, 1/2"-3/4" Cyriopagopus sp. Hati Hati and a 1/2" Psalmopoeus Cambridgei originally during their 35% off sale. Matt communicated with me about shipping dates and if I wanted them shipped to my address or nearby pick-up location which I appreciated. Then last minute, an hour before their sale ends, I email him about adding in a Latrodectus Hesperus sling, and instead of just taking the sale, he explained I probably wanted a Sub-Adult because of having to deal with flightless fruit flies and let me add a Sub-Adult female in to my order last minute WITH the 35% off. Great guy who also didn't hesitate about giving me advice on the Latrodectus Hesperus. All my species arrived safely and alive, were labeled appropriately and looked nice and healthy. Packaging was insulated with a cold pack. Spiders were exactly what I paid for. EXCEPT. My Psalmopoeus Cambridgei that I ordered at a 1/2" is easily an inch or bigger. Definitely appreciated that. Great experience and 10/10 will do business with them again.

I'm still pretty new to the arachnid hobby but have become obsessed with velvet spiders, and was happy to see a selection I haven't seen available yet from anyone else. I ordered 3 eresus moravicus slings. Waited till the temps were ok to ship. Everyone arrived healthy. Was a good experience, and I love how many true spiders are available on the website. Would order from here again.

I had an extremely great experience purchasing from Matt at spider room! He was extremely responsive and answered all my questions (even the dumb ones) I met up with him at a show in la and picked up my spiders to avoid shipping costs which was also a plus. I must that I’ve also had him ship spiders to me, and that was also extremely easy and well done I packaged perfectly! Extremely happy with this purchase! Will be purchasing again!

Bought a Phormictopus in the middle of a huge swath of freezing weather. Matt was great about keeping me updated on when he'd be able to safely ship, and did so as soon as it was safe. Sling arrived in great condition, was slightly larger than expected, and was extremely well packed with the heat pack working just fine. Couldn't be happier, and will definitely keep my eye on his inventory for anything else I want!

This is my second time buying from Matt and my second time being thoroughly pleased with the purchase. The first time I ordered three spiders for myself. This time around I bought just one for myself but my friend bought one as well since he had been wanting another. So I went in with him when there were species we both wanted from a dealer I had previously interacted with. Anyways, I live in Western NY and when it was time for them to be shipped out, Matt notified me we were under a winter storm warning and that it would be best to wait until the next week. I agreed, but warned it was supposed to be a good bit colder despite less precipitation. He said he would gladly ship it Wednesday for a Thursday arrival. Just a fantastic and accomodating dealer. After sending them out he said he made sure to check if the heat pack was working and wanted an update once I opened them up. Comes across as a great guy and couldn’t recommend him enough!

Finally had the opportunity to pay a visit to The Spider Room. Matt is a knowledgeable dealer with an amazing selection of invertebrates and tarantulas. His business is well kept and well organized; I would recommend him without reservations to any potential buyer.

I ordered two jumpers and a Linothele from Matt.
It was very easy to order from the Spider Room, and they were able to work with me regarding shipping.
The animals arrived packaged extremely well and all were doing well.
The heating pad was still warm and the package was insulted perfectly for the spiders.

It was my 3rd visit to the Spider Room today. His shop is chock full of variety and its impossible to walk out of there w only what you planned on. So much cool stuff. If he doesnt have it, just ask, he can get it. Real nice guy. Tight, clean, professional shop. A very Trustworthy guy. Order from anywhere you cand depend on him to do right by you.
So i got a big healthy female Smithi, a few A. Bicoloratum slings and a G. Iherengi sling. All healthy n happy.

I had a great experience ordering from this seller. Matt was very professional and communication was excellent. I could tell that the priority was the welfare of the animals, and that they arrived safely, which was excellent. I ordered a T.violaceus and a T. albopilosus sling, and both arrived packaged well and very healthy. Within the first day they were already eating and settling in nicely. Although they were a bit smaller than I expected, both were very healthy. There was also an extensive selection of species to choose from online.
