  • My T C. Versicolor sling was shipped overnight and was shipped in a terrestrial enclosure with substrate, not a single vent hole, and fake plants instead of being gently wrapped in a separate vial which would cause the sling to be tossed about. The shipping department also spelled the terminal address incorrectly (even after we spelled it to them) which caused issues with delivery. The sling passed away 2 days later.
While they have been helpful with the situation, they unfortunately are only providing an in-store credit instead of a refund.

I marked the packaging as a con, but all 3 tarantulas did arrive alive and well with no visible issues, so it wasn't that bad. Arranged shipping on the day that worked for me and the tarantulas were as advertised.

  • Received two adults instead of two large slings. They seem healthy and in good shape thus far.

  • Received two adults instead of slings lol. Containers for the t's could have been more padded inside.
I decided to add two "Haplopelma minax" (big blacks )1 1/2-2 1/2 inch slings to an amphibian order to round out the order. Instead I got two adults! So for sure an upgrade. Nice surprise. However, I was not mentally prepared to deal with an angry adult yet. And the housing I had prepared will not be large enough. But it's too late to run to the pet store to get bigger containers tonight. So just a temporary problem. Great communication and prompt service as well.
