Classic Jurassic Exotics

Purchased my first T (B. boehmei) at an expo. Nicolas talked with me briefly to make sure the species was a good fit, and was ready with suggestions if it hadn't been. Prices were comparable to other vendors, and selection was incredible.

There was an issue with payment that was fixed the same day. Received a freebie (T. albo) for the trouble. Very much appreciated the urgency in resolving it. (Issue was technical and not at all his fault.)

Both spiders are healthy and are settling in just fine. Would definitely return for future purchases.

Bought a juvenile Xenesthis from this seller at a reptile expo. Very knowledgeable, friendly/ kind, and I could tell that he really cares about his animals. The tarantulas all looked to be healthy and in good condition. Great variety as well, with some less common species. Most of all, I really appreciated that the seller took the time to allow me to ventral sex the specimens I was interested in ( there were a lot) and was very friendly and patient the whole time even though it was crowded. I'm going to check out the website and will plan on ordering from them again in the future.

Bought two Ts at a repticon today, a sling caribena versi, and a sling GBB. Both healthy, beautiful, happy, and well fed. The enclosures are pretty nice, decent husbandry. He also made sure they didn’t have missing legs which was unexpected but very appreciated and funny. They have really well designed tags for each tarantula with pictures on them. Overall just phenomenal. My favorite tarantula table there.

I saw this booth at Repticon and asked for what I was looking for while explaining that it would be my first tarantula. While he did have the T I asked about, he explained that it wasn't a great beginner T at that age (small sling) and was very helpful in showing me different Ts that would meet my needs while being a hardy age/breed. I'm thrilled with my little G pulchripes and will definitely return to CJE when I feel ready for another T

I just got two tarantulas from Classic Jurassic Exotics at the Pittsburgh Reptile Show in Cheswick PA. The owner was great to deal with. Very knowledgable and took the time to answer my questions and show me a lot of great choices. Ended up getting a Brazilian White Knee and a Lasiodora Parahybana.

I bought my first two spiders from Nic at a reptile expo in September 2019 not knowing I would become addicted to the hobby. Most recently I picked up a juvenile Psalmopeus victori and a Brachionopus pretoria. He knows a lot tarantulas and all kinds of herps and is always willing to give good husbandry advice. If you're looking for rare species he is someone worth contacting. I've only bought from him in person, I think he mostly does expos on the east coast. He is personable and always a pleasure to work with.
