I am an arthropod enthusiast and also teach summer school classes about bugs and spiders for elementary and middle school students. At first I started keeping insects and arachnids so I would have them available to show my students - but now I think it's the other way around. The classes give me a good excuse to keep my pets - and to acquire more. I am always looking for new creatures to add to my collection.
