Gorgeous. What can you tell us about the environment, burrow, temperature etc?
    • ThisMeansWAR
Is this a male? Isn't the females more uniform in colour?
    • Tazeday
@ThisMeansWAR the enviorment is humid places with some trees that make shadow. They live under rocks and share habitat with other species like Euathlus sp “parda” or Homoeomma sp “yellow”. Humidity: 60%-70%
      Day Temperature: 28-29
    • Tazeday
@ThisMeansWAR E.manicata has a lot of colour forms, also the juvenile coloration (like this one) has different colour compared to adult ones
    • boina
@ThisMeansWAR I think they change colors from juvenile to adult.

Edit: Sorry @Tazeday I hadn't seen your post when I typed

Is this what is also called Euathlus/Homoeomma sp. smaragd/emerald in Europe? It looks identical.
    • Tazeday
@boina hmmmm, really I dont know, but I know that many times manicata’s are wrongly selled as Euathlus truculentus, despite the fact that E.truculentus is another completely different species.
      viper69 and boina like this.
