Looks like H. lividum to me as well. (I AM NO expert!)
They need deep substrate in which they can burrow. If you cover the sides with cardboard or the like, it will likely burrow along a side. You can then observe it from time to time by removing the cardboard. Keep your fingers away, as these guys will protect their home.
