What are these growths?

P. imperator 3i. Look at the base of his tail. There’s weird yellow lumps.
could it be impaction of some kind? I read on here awhile back that those lumps can even be due to hemolymph not flowing through the scorpion like it normally does. But I can see a white line up through the tail on the third, fourth and fifth segments... it looks like fecal matter.

Yeah it’s that white line that rules out impaction for me. Clearly the excrement is able to reach the anus. Thing is, these bumps are symmetrical and lined up along the tail for three segments. The facebook guys thought it could be cysts, but since there’d have to be six of them all nicely lined up, it’s probably just the way the scorpion is growing. Hopefully it’s nothing.
 
Some scorpions have flat blade thingies on the sides of their tail but definitely not these. Maybe its an interesting mutation?

Ok so I just watched him defecate. He’s definitely not impacted.
