Sericopelma sp 'canal zone panama' probably not rubronitens ..... pretty sure, but can never really know without a collection location or examining the specimen. Sericopelma have retrolateral scopulae on femur IV, while Brachypelma dont. Cant see that from this angle. It is modified soft hairs on the 'inside edge' of the femur of hind legs, ie on the side closest to the abdomen, the retrolateral side.
