I’ve had no problems but I’ve talked to a handful of people that have. I think building a trapdoor should be number 1 priority...they can survive without it but don’t seem to thrive without it. I also think fruit flies are way too small for feeders...so I used slightly bigger than pinhead crickets, prekilled at first. Temp is something no one talks about...it’s very warm all year and even at night where they are from. I probably won’t keep them warm their whole lives but as slings, in my opinion it’s important or at least has worked well for my 5 slings. I keep mine at 80ish during the day and in the low 70s at night. I keep a small water dish in their enclosure, tons of ventilation, slightly damp soil, mist their door once a week.
That’s all I can think of but feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I know it’s daunting to raise this species with little information and their reputation. I was a nervous wreck at first
