      The longer they stay on top, the more you will get to see the whole spider. When they burrow you are more certain that they are comfortable. My silver Arbanitis girl can pretty much only be seen from the bottom of her container now that she has settled in.

      @Dave1969 yes that's the unfortunate thing with the terrestrial Arbanitis, especially since they look so pretty. I must over 20 odd specimens now from probably like 10 different species, and I wish all of them would show themselves a bit more :( but the tube building ones like this and 2 of my others are cool because they are far more visible when inside their tube
