Colony of about 700 wild Arbanitis sp. 10 points to whoever guess the environment they were found in. Looks can be deceiving, so think outside th box

@viper69 you're pretty close. It was actually 20m from a beach shoreline but they were exclusively on a 3m high stretch of cliff about 15-20m wide with running fresh springwater. As a result, the cliff was absolutely covered in 2" thick moss and the ground around the base was very swampy with even a few sundews. And as guessed, there are a few beach trees but not quite a mangrove swamps. Very unusual to see primitives so close to the ocean in such a salty environment
