Took in some 'pests'

In my opinion caterpillars are so underrated! we get tent caterpillars every year and I've seen people literally burn them alive on the tree for simply being born :( so we got a batch in the one tree we couldn't have them in and ended up cutting off thier branch and moving them inside to safety :)
You too, huh? :D I always take in stray caterpillars I find. If they're pests like tent moth or gypsy moth caterpillars, I just keep them instead of releasing them once they're adults. I just took in 3 tussock moth caterpillars a few hours ago (2 banded tussock and 1 white marked tussock)

@PidderPeets haha yup! Last year I actually came across a female underwing moth who layed a small clutch right in front of my eyes! It was still really cold/wet out and I wasn't sure if the eggs would even survive so I carefully scraped an off and hatch/raised em indoors :) ended up keeping 10 of 35 pillars to pupation. They were lovely and all went right outside the night after emerging :D
