Based off the spermatheca, Vanessa thinks this might not be a T. vagans. I can get a post molt picture soon, but I can tell it's abdomen hairs are reddish orange. It molted around 6 hours ago.
Interesting. I can contact the seller and see what they say. I can also post a picture of the T in the next day or so, post molt to see what everyone thinks.

The spermatheca do resemble that of the aphonopelma genus... It's new hairs are a bright orange. I guess I'll have to see what I can find out, and see how it looks post molt. Thanks again for the information, and I'll update you with what I find!
Spermatheca develop and change shape as a tarantula matures so it is not the best idea to use it to ID a spiderling or small immature. If you want to rule out Tliltocatl, you can examine the urticating hairs using a compound microscope. Tliltocatl will have both type 1 and 3 and is present on small immatures. Other than that, there isn't much you can do to identify it at that size.
