thats looks of the genus habronattus, however I'm not sure if there range extends to NE. I found a MM H. pyrithrix in my backyard a bit ago, he has since passed tho.
@Cas S it is in the coecatus group. I put the question mark because I was unsure if it was coecatus or another member of the coecatus group. But he's definitely Habronattus...
@Cas S I actually just poured through the entire coecatus group. A few species have males with red faces like this. But they are all far out of my range. He's definitely an actual coecatus. I'll remove the question mark now. Lol
