^^ What Spidermolt said. They're fine with dry, and too much space can make it hard for it to find/catch it's prey.
I got my little chaco at this size,but I got mine from Jaime (Jaime's Tarantulas) with an enclosure. Her sling enclosures are made from little Amac boxes, to give you an idea of what size works well. Give it a molt or two and it'll be a bit more comfortable with what you currently have it in. They're a slow growing species, but it'll shock you with how much it'll grow in just a single molt from this stage.
@Gman32176@Spidermolt.... i just posted a pic of the housing that the chaco is in compared to my hand and i wear extra small gloves lmao.... it is roughly close to the same dimensions to jamies
