@Vanessa I think you're right it looks like a Lagunas to me also, @StormyMyth729 if it is indeed a Lagunas you still have a great species I have a sub adult female that I wouldn't be without. @Vanessa how large is your juvenile female? Does it show any red on the abdomen? The reason I ask I also have a juvenile female around 2" and she looks almost identical to my adult female only smaller
@johnny quango Yes, she is showing some red. These photos were taken immediately after moulting, so she is very dark. Her red abdomen has become more noticeable over time.
Also, the angle of the photo is poor for you to see her abdomen. Here is a different angle.
@Vanessa Very beautiful species. As they get older the black on their carapace starts to look green in certain light and it makes them look even better
She came from a reputable breeder and he got her from a breeder in England...i did ask before because of her bluish color but he says she's cajamarca 100%. She was more greenish when I first got her..i posted pics previously of her here. I guess I will have to wait and see.
If she winds up being a T.Lagunas instead I really won't be happy. I paid a pretty penny for a female.
I actually ordered 2 more from someone else and they looked exactly like she did when she was smaller (unfortunately they died in transit.)
@StormyMyth729 I don't know about price's for both species in the Us, Over this side of the pond Lagunas slings are more expensive than sp cajamarca. I believe I paid £6/$8 for my sp cajamarca and £13/$16 for the Lagunas sling they are both fairly rare and equally as beautiful.
I don't know who the breeders involved are but someone is pulling a fast one, I've raised a few Thrixopelma from slings including Lagunas and cajamarca, at no time did the cajamarca show any blue colouration infact they look closer to Thrixopelma pruriens untill they get to around 1.25-1.5". If you don't mind who is the UK breeder? The reason I ask as far as I'm aware sp cajamarca hasn't been on sale this year at any dealer/breeder I use

Thank you very much to you and @Vanessa for pointing me in the right direction to the correct species because I was worried. She started with a greenish color and changed two molts ago.
