Theraphosa stirmi [ventral sexing]
I hope it's a female, can you sex it?
@GoldenVeNoM You can tell by the dark triangular patch of setae between the anterior pair of book lungs. These are the epiandrous fusillae, a set of specialized setae that allow males to create sperm webs. In Theraphosa species they are quite clear and have this distinctive triangular shape. In other species it may be a smaller semi-circular or circular patch, and they can sometimes be difficult to see.
