Ok so I was able to find some sort of red structure in each of the corners from the possible female Appophysis L1 moult. Its far from spermathicae like but it is a L1 moult wil a book lung gap of 2mm and slit probably 1mm. I looked at a adult male auratum moult and found no structures in the corners. I think it may possibly be early spermathicae growth. I will include pictures of other undeveloped spermathicae for comparison. Cheers.
Could be....but its really hard to be sure with such a young t. Things are just too undeveloped....but it does appear your assessment could be correct...just dont bank on it quite yet.

No, L3-L4 sounds like the norm for this species, my Apophysis is 2.5 inches and is currently L2 so
Also looks female to me, but a molt will show if it is
Oh it was at 80x magnification. It moulted out from a 9cm dls skin. Its hard to tell isn't it from the scope shot, can you post a couple of pictures of its head end including chelicerae? I have been researching and usually can tell from chelicerae to carapace ratio of the sex..
Oh ok, yea you may be able to catch those red structures as indicators but deffo no uterus or spermathicae. They should come next moult like mine did. Oh do you have a pic of it please I really like to gain knowledge and experience from comparing chelicerae to carapace ratio lol.
