Ok so I was able to find some sort of red structure in each of the corners from the possible female Appophysis L1 moult. Its far from spermathicae like but it is a L1 moult wil a book lung gap of 2mm and slit probably 1mm. I looked at a adult male auratum moult and found no structures in the corners. I think it may possibly be early spermathicae growth. I will include pictures of other undeveloped spermathicae for comparison. Cheers.
