Tarantula

I just caught this guy the other day. Very Docile. He is solid black with just a few brown hairs on his abdomen. His legs are about 3 inches long which makes him about 7" overall length. Looks like a Aphonopelma but curious as to which one. He looks just like the Johnny cashi. But I'm here in W. Tex
@CEC could you not argue that it's selfish not to let every animal breed? And that neutering/spaying mammalian pets is cruel?

Agree! Thus is the circle of life! You can consider me a predator that shortens the life span of a wild spider! Like I'm the worst enemy it has! hahahahahahahahahahahaha

@MintyWood826 No comment. This is an arachnid forum and It's against the rules to discuss that topic in this section. We are allowed to discuss this in the "Not so spineless wonders" section though.

@CEC We might as well start a thread to debate whether ALL tarantulas should be bred or not. Why would it be so much more cruel to the males than the females? If @bsshog40 doesn't breed one tarantula, shouldn't every other keeper who doesn't breed be yelled at too? Someone just start a thread for this.

Also I wasn't discussing mammals. I just mentioned them.

@MintyWood826 You said "every animal"(not limited to arachnids) then mentioned "neutering and spaying of mammalian", so yeah I'm not going to address that Q here.
As for Theraphosidae, Yes, I believe no matter the sex people should give them a chance to breed. Thus, why I don't keep the type that have 1000's of babies especially if harder to sell. If someone doesn't want to breed their captive bred or imported wild caughts I'm not going to yell at them, all I will do is recommended it. The difference between the OPs action and a hobbyist not breeding their collection is the hobbyist's collection is already in captivity and releasing them for many isn't an option but in the OPs case, he could release it.
Start a thread... or maybe use the search function? I find it hard to believe this topic has not already been discussed.

@CEC and @KezyGLA Its ok to have your opinions but you don't need to try to enforce your ideas on others. The more forceful you are the less people will listen to you. I could sense your opinion was telling me what to do instead of recommending. I don't like being told what to do with my possessions. Therefore I will be more rebellious towards you as long as you are trying to enforce your ideas upon me! Have a good day!

@bsshog40 Well... you certainly sensed wrong. It was just a recommendation. Your ignorance of this recommendation and attitude prompted these replies. Pretty simple... Freedom of speech does not come without consequences.

@CEC That is the reasoning behind freedom of speech. There can always be consequences, even for those that are ignorant!!! Have a great day!
