@Mirandarachnid Thanks! I was almost positive it is M.robustum. It doesn’t look like a Brachypelma at all to me. But I’ve only been in the hobby for 2 years.
@Ungoliant My thoughts exactly. B. boehmei is a very common species and thus the price for slings or even adults is relatively low. But M. robustum on the other hand.. @Batmantis you got an absolute steal if you choose to keep it. Check out some of the price differences online. You might've made out like a bandit on this one.
All I know about this species is that Petko's one (the dark den) does the most bizarre defensive... flop? I can't even describe it but when rehousing it, it just goes all stiff and rigid, and stubbornly resists any attempt to guide it into a new enclosure
@RezonantVoid Ya they are really cool. They do like a 360 spin where they kick hairs off thier back legs as a defensive mechanism. They have pretty bad hairs from what I have heard.
