smithi or hamorii?

I try, I really do, but I'm not too great with which is which yet. Thanks for helping!
I would usually say this is just a hamorii, but if it's still small-ish and its colors just started appearing, then i'm uncertain.
 
Yeah, 2" would be too early to tell for me. Maybe somebody with a better eye could spot potential smithi clues that i dont see

And hey, wait a sec, what do you mean "just a hamorii" hmm?
Also, should I bother with the vent set pic or is it still too small for that as well?

Smithi are less common in the hobby, hence the "just a hamorii" sentiment - but they're still cool and I know you're just kidding. Should be able to at least make a good guess at gender with a ventral pic at that size, so if you can get a good one post it.
